Katie has over 13 years of experience in the private and public sectors in environmental approvals, regulatory policy, and impact assessment. She has previously led teams to design and develop strategic assessments and deliver complex regulatory decisions under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

Katie has extensive experience in the application of EPBC Act policy and understanding statutory requirements. She has also supported the delivery of environmental improvement projects and sustainability initiatives, including preparation of reviews and managing monitoring programs and control strategies.

Katie also has an applied knowledge of environmental planning and assessment in a state-based context, and experience in completing on-ground environmental assessment. Her career experience means Katie is well placed to provide advice on strategic policy development and assist with navigating the EPBC Act regulatory approvals process.
